In European folklore, gnomes are fairy creatures similar to tiny men. (also called little people or erroneously goblins)

They are traditionally depicted as mustachioed and bearded, and sometimes having features such as conical hats, often colored red.

The gnome is a symbol of home protection and protection of people from bad luck. They are considerate leprechauns which transmit luck, love and health.
